How It Works
1Connect your Spotify
Verify ownership of your playlists via your Spotify account.
2Submit your playlists for approval
Add genre and subgenre tags. All playlists are reviewed before going live.
3Receive submissions
Producers submit tracks that match your genre. Preview everything directly in your dashboard.
4Accept or reject
Full discretion, no obligations. You decide independently.
5Grow your playlist
Every accepted track earns your playlist a real follower from the producer.
Playlist Requirements
To be listed on Beats Portal your playlist must:
- Have 50 real followers
- Be owned by you and verified via Spotify Auth
- Be focused on electronic music genres
- Be correctly tagged with genre and subgenre
- Be publicly accessible on Spotify
All playlists are reviewed manually. Listing is not automatic.
We reject playlists that are mixed genre, inactive, or incorrectly tagged.
What Happens When You Accept a Track
When you accept a submission, Beats Portal adds the track to your playlist via the Spotify API.
The producer automatically follows your playlist. This is the gated follow model — follows are earned
through acceptance, not through submission.
Your playlist grows from music you chose. Not from producers gaming the system.
Your Control
Beats Portal is a tool. You retain full ownership and control of your playlists at all times.
- You decide what gets accepted and what gets rejected
- You have no obligation to review any submission
- Track removal must be done directly via Spotify — Beats Portal does not remove tracks automatically
- You can remove your playlists from the platform at any time
Activity and Visibility
Playlists that show no review activity over an extended period may be deprioritised in search results
or hidden from the platform. This protects producers from submitting to inactive curators.
If your playlist is hidden, you can reactivate it by logging in and reviewing submissions.
Quality Standards
Beats Portal is built around quality. Curators are expected to maintain playlists that reflect genuine
taste and engagement. Playlists found to have fake followers, bot activity, or no genuine curation may
be removed from the platform without notice.
Important
Beats Portal is a submission tool, not a curator. Responsibility for playlist content lies with you.
The platform facilitates the connection between producers and curators — it does not curate, endorse,
or make decisions on your behalf.
All playlist edits beyond track additions must be made directly in Spotify.
